The Way of the Cross (The Stations of the Cross)
Next, we visited the Divine Mercy Statue Church. As I looked out from the top of the building, I marveled at the huge Jesus Statue, a testament to the hard work invested in its creation. Here, we continued our Way of the Cross, reciting chapters 4 to 6.
Our prayers were not mere routine; they were expressions of gratitude for the chance to live in peace, thanks to Jesus. I am thankful for my family, siblings, and cousins, and for the protection from evil that Jesus provides. Despite any circumstances, we must continue praying. Jesus's presence is comforting, and our love for him is unwavering. I am grateful for my parents' hard work in supporting our daily lives and my education. My sister's journey to college in Japan inspires me, and I aspire to follow in her footsteps after graduating from high school. My parents have taught me valuable lessons—my mother in chores and caring for others, and my father in learning from mistakes and using common sense. I am blessed with a smart little brother, though I recognize the importance of teaching him responsibility and respect. I appreciate the freedom to pursue my dreams without constraints, and I thank the Lord for giving me life and love. I offer everything I have in support of my family and loved ones. Thank you, Lord, for your blessings and guidance. May you continue to watch over us as we strive to achieve our dreams. In Jesus's name, Amen. In reflecting on this journey, I realize the depth of our faith and the significance of our traditions. These moments strengthen our bond with each other and with our beliefs, reinforcing the importance of gratitude and humility in our lives.
